Gauchos' Jordan Theodore Gets Big East Recognition

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Seton Hall senior Jordan Theodore (Englewood, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST's Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

The 6-foot point guard averaged 16.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.5 steals per game in guiding the Pirates to a pair of BIG EAST victories last week.  On Tuesday against #8 Connecticut, Theodore tallied 19 points and tied his career-high with 11 assists.  On Saturday at Providence, he scored 14 points to go with nine assists and a career-high six steals.  Theodore also hit a key jumper to end a scoreless drought for Seton Hall late in the game.  The Englewood native is the current BIG EAST leader with 7.4 assists per game. Other weekly honors include:  West Virginia's Darryl Bryant being named BIG EAST Player of the Week.
