Jack said that he chose the aforementioned collegiate athletic programs because he looked for a school where he "can go in and make an impact right away."
"That's how I cut my list down by just choosing the schools that I know I was needed to come in and play," Jack said.
Jack does not mind what conference he will play in during the 2011-12 season. He claimed that he really did not take the conference style into consideration when limiting his collegiate list.
With that thinking, staying within the tri-state (i.e., Rutgers), committing to the semi-Midwest (i.e., Arkansas) or joining a squad down south (i.e., Miami), does not phase Jack one way or the other.
Currently, Jack said that he is planning visits to Rutgers and West Virginia.
"I'll probably try to get that sometime early in September because I want to make my decision early," said Jack. "[My decision] is going to be in September - around the first to the 15th."
The former 2010 Rice High School (New York, N.Y.) big man has matured over the months spanning from his senior year to now, knowing exactly what he wants and going after it with no inhibitions. In retrospect, Jack says that he is happy that he reclassified to the 2011 class and chose to attend South Kent to develop and work on his skill set. He is undoubtedly content with the choices affecting his recruitment and seems to envision a bright future for himself in Connecticut.
"I know by this time next year, I'll be a totally different player," he said. "It was a great decision from what I can see."

Starr Breedlove
Breedlove was a second team All-State performer in New Jersey as a sophomore.
Breedlove is currently playing her AAU ball with the NYC Lady Gauchos Elite team. She has a very good handle, range on her jumper and the ability to pressure the ball 94 feet, but the point guard still wants to add more to her game. "This summer I will be working on my strength, and pull-up jumper," said Breedlove
